Panopticum works in four apps: the web app in a browser, a program for Windows, an app for Android and a panel in Telegram. The username, permissions and data are the same in all of them: an asset added in the browser is visible on the phone at once, and an employee’s role works the same way everywhere. You can use several of them at the same time.
The Telegram bot writes in Russian for now; the web app, the Windows and Android apps and the Telegram panel are available in English.
What to choose
- The web app, if you need everything at once: connecting equipment, setting up alerts, users, reports. Nothing to install; it works in any browser. Start with it.
- Windows for a control room where the video wall and the map are open all day: video tiles can be dragged, windows remember their position, and cameras on the local network play directly.
- Android for working from a phone: assets, video, the map and checkpoints at hand, you sign in once, and the app updates itself.
- Telegram, if you have an iPhone or do not want to install anything: the panel opens from the chat with the bot, and alerts arrive there too.

Connecting equipment (cameras, devices, the trunk, checkpoints) is easiest in the web app: all the forms and checks are there. The other apps are for everyday work.
