Panopticum for Windows 3.2: English and a splash screen without flicker

The app speaks English and Russian, and the language is chosen in the System menu. The splash screen no longer flickers at start-up.

A release about the interface language.

  • The whole interface is in both languages: the menu, sections, windows, hints, dates and numbers
  • The language is chosen with “Language” in the System menu or in the “Server connection” window, and the app restarts in it
  • The server answers the app in its language: roles, checkpoint modes, telemetry labels and reports
  • The installer speaks the language of Windows, and a new installation opens in that language
  • The splash screen no longer flickers at start-up: the picture does not jump, and no white window appears before the main one
  • Smart Gate: each checkpoint has its own pass list, and when a plate is too small in the frame, the camera card says so and gives its width in pixels

Installed apps will offer the update themselves. After an update from 3.1 the language stays Russian; switch to English in the System menu.
